Time goes by so fast when you are having fun that we can't even realize that the second week of summer went by so quick. By this time, I bet you are running out of fun and cool activities to do with your kids and not hear the word boring here and there.To all those parents who haven't had an opportunity to register your kids into a summer camp; now it's a great time to go out and check our summer camp tab. To make it much easier for you here we are featuring 28 summer camps with plenty of variety that can fit your kids' personalities.


More Than Fun. That's what we're shooting for with Obstacle Adventure Camps. Our goal is to deliver obstacle-conquering adventure and fun in an empowering and encouraging environment. Each camp will include instruction daily in Parkour fundamentals and Ninja Warrior training, with a mix of ropes challenges (for campers 8 and up), teambuilding activities and opportunities for supervised Open Play.

  • Ages 5-8, 8-11, 11-14
  • Morning camps run 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • Full-day camps run 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

2019 FLIPZFEST SUMMER CAMPS RUN 6/3-8/16

Our FlipzFest Camp is one of the best in Charlotte! During this fun-filled week our kids learn gymnastics skills, team bonding, artistic creativity, healthy living, independence and much more!This camp is not just for gymnasts but all athletes that like to flip around and have a fun time. 

Our USAG certified instructors maintain a safe and structured atmosphere for all kids to participate no matter what their gymnastics abilities may be.

Our fun & enriching programs educate, inspire & entertain your creative young artists! Variety is the spice of life so all of our camps offer a wide range of project topics and supplies that will spark their creativity & expose them to a stimulating mix of age-appropriate art techniques each day.

Summer camps give us time to dive into larger-scale, more grandiose projects like papier mache, batik painting, sculpture & printmaking! For our die-hard campers who return year after year (or week after week), we catalog all projects students complete & make every effort to avoid repeating projects!

* Weekly half day Mixed Media Camps (9am-12p or 1-4pm) for ages 4-14  

* We also offer weekly half day Pottery Camps (9am-12pm or 1-4pm) for ages 6-14 that includes the pottery wheel + hand building! 

* Full Day Pottery + Mixed Media Camps camps are 9am-4pm, and include lunch time childcare


As parents, we look for educational opportunities to delight their senses and stretch their imaginations... As kids, we look for programs that are FUN!

Bring your Lil' Chef over and you'll pick up a newly self-confident child who will beg to cook dinner for you! Your Lil' Chef will create his or her own snacks and lunch and we'll supply everything that he or she will need for an amazing week or day filled with newly developed life-long skills including math, science, reading and chemistry!

Normal camp hours: 8:30 am - 4 pm. Extended hours available also from 8 am to 5 pm.

Additional before and after camp hours: Available beginning at 8 am and ending at 5 pm. $25 for morning care, and $25 for afternoon care for full week camps. $5 per day for morning care and $5 per day for afternoon care for individual camp days.

​* Camp Cannon!

At Camp Cannon, we specialize in weekly enrichment sessions focused on The Arts & Academics, College Prep, SciTech, and Sports for students from ages 3 to 18. Campers learn while having fun on our 65-acre campus which includes state-of-the-art classroom facilities and performing arts center, two gymnasiums, a dance studio, a strength and conditioning center, athletic fields, track, tennis courts, and wooded wetlands. The schedule for Camp Cannon 2019 will be posted in winter of 2019, and registration will open on March 1, 2019.


​* On Deck Baseball Camps

Every day each camper will have instruction in the areas of groundball fielding, fly-ball fielding, hitting, throwing/pitching, and team fundamentals. We will also play different games and competitions. We will not play full baseball games.

Typically each session will take place from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The camp will be designed for ages 6-12.

What to Bring: Cleats & Tennis Shoes (Tennis shoes if weather forces us indoors), Glove, Helmet, Bat, drinks (Water and Sports Drinks), a snack. (We will take breaks-Do not send full lunches).

* Hornets Hoops Summer Camps 2019

Looking for a camp where your kid can learn or practice basketball?
with Skills Stations, Breakdown Drills, and Instructional Lectures?
Shooting mechanics and footwork, ball handling, defense, rebounding, mental approach, and more?
Hornets Hoops Camps will be held during the weeks of June 15th through August 21st at many convenient locations throughout Charlotte and surrounding areas.


​* Cirque & Dance Center Camps

Our Summer Intensive is for students with experience in dance, aerials or acrobatics who wish to focus on their technique and performance. The Summer Intensive ends with a performance in costume and lighting at our Studio Theater.

For Summer Intensive you must sign up for 2 consecutive weeks to participate.

* Yoga One Kids Camps

Yoga One Kids special yoga and craft camp is coming BACK for THREE weeks this summer!Kids will practice yoga, make crafts, play yoga games, enjoy meditation, mindfulness practices and have FUN!Each week has a specific theme that we will focus on and you are welcome to sign your child up for the whole week or specific days that work for your family.

* Dish it Out!

At Dish It Out we offer summer art camps for children ages 7 -16. We introduce children to a variety of forms of art, such as pottery painting, canvas painting, mosaics and more. A dedicated camp counselor will lead the children through multiple art projects each day and give young artists a hands-on approach to different forms of art. Summer Art Camp is all about self-expression, creativity and fun! In 2019, camps meeting during odd weeks will enjoy our LIGHTS, CAMERA, ACTION week of movie inspired projects and even weeks will enjoy animal inspired projects in our IT'S A WILD, WILD WORLD week of fun.

Raptors Rock! Summer Day Camp

Whether you are looking to check over some X-rays from one of our rehab birds or looking to see what it takes to train a juvenile raptor to become a great ambassador for its species, Carolina Raptor Centers Summer Day camp is where you need to be this summer!

* Miller Street Dance Camps

Ages 3–8 Dance camps are four days long and include a variety of activities. A little bit of everything and a whole lot of fun! Campers will be divided by age for various activities.

Ages 9-12 "Totally You" Pre-Teen Camp is four days of exploring various styles of dance from Lyrical and Jazz to Acrobatics and HipHop, and more! It doesn't stop with dance training. We will spend a portion of the day learning the basics of etiquette that every young lady needs to know!

* JCC Summer Programs 

CAMP MINDY: The Mindy Ellen Levine Day Camp, located on a lush 54-acre campus in the heart of South Charlotte, is the Levine JCC's premier traditional day camp for preschoolers thru teens. We believe that a summer camp experience can have positive and lasting benefits for your child. Through making friends, participating in an array of activities, learning new skills, being outdoors, and experiencing Judaism, camp becomes a magical place where campers have fun, grow and feel good about who they are.

* Charlotte Youth Broadcasting Camp

Charlotte Youth Broadcasting© Camp is a national specialty broadcasting camp. We encourage campers to work with each other combining diversity, using broadcast media, technology, and engaging them with others in an increasingly broadcasting world. They will learn the fundamentals of broadcasting in a fun collaborative environment which provides our youth with the skills to utilize the media technologies in a positive and productive way. This camp is a great way to break the fear of public speaking, will teach campers how to articulate, and encourage writing.

Charlotte City Tennis was formed in 2012 to provide Charlotte with it's first full service public tennis program. CCT manages tennis programming at Charlotte's three largest municipal facilities- Jeff Adams Tennis Center, Freedom Park, and Park Rd. Park. We strive to provide the best tennis options for the community with a commitment to quality staff and superb customer service.
