Annual Charlotte Labor Day Parade!
This is a true Labor Day parade put on by organized Labor and held on Labor Day Monday to honor the accomplishments and sacrifices of union workers for their memberships and all workers in general. This year Labor Day Monday falls on September 3rd. As usual, our parade marches off from our assembly point at the Hal Marshal center south on Tryon Street, through the Square, turning left onto Third Street, and left onto College Street where it disburses. Labor unions and organizations, individual Labor members, political candidates, businesses, civic groups, bands, car clubs, and others are invited to register and march with us. We also need interested people to help out with marshaling, marching, and organizing.
