Charlotte's BEST Spring Basket List

The weather is warming up and everything's turning green. Shed your winter coat and enjoy the spring season in Charlotte.

It's time to start thinking about Easter! The Easter holiday is right around the corner as is all those fun ways to celebrate it here in the Queen City. Fun 4 Charlotte Kids is here to give you that EXACT LIST so you can spend more time celebrating Easter and enjoying the family than searching around for what events are coming up! There are some new events this year to keep in mind like Easter on Rolls this event will feature lots of great activities for the kids. We go to Whispering Hopes Farm's Flashlight/Daylight Easter Egg Hunt every year and spend some time outdoor at the farm.  We also like to celebrate spring along with Peter Cottontail and his friends! Enjoy family activities and crafts, live entertainment, and more at Daniel Stove Botanical Garden. Last mark your calendar for The Egg-cellent Adventure at Patterson Farm and Brunch with the Easter Bunny.

Get advantage of the weather! There's nothing better than getting the kids outdoors. They have fun, run off all of their energy, and typically sleep well thereafter! Make a list of all the local playgrounds, and visit a new one each week! There are parks and playgrounds hidden all over Charlotte that you probably never even knew of, so be sure to check our list of the 60 plus local playgrounds! You can even print it and start crossing off each playground you've visited.

It's officially March and we think spring is here to stay. Which is great because it's the best time of year to be outside in North Carolina and that means it's full fledged festival season! The Charlotte Spring Fair is returning this year with new attractions. Visit and use code: {{FUN410}} and get a 10% OFF your online ticket.  Also this spring Join Glen and Glenda at this year's at Come-See-Me Festival and celebrate all the things we love about the '80s. It's time to break out your crimper and throw on your acid washed jeans! Get your mixed tape ready, and don't forget to bring your boombox as we "walk on by" through the streets of downtown Rock Hill. Be sure to check our Complete List of Spring Festivals.
