Homeschool Rally Junior Edition: World Travels and Buried Treasure!

Homeschooled children ages 5-11 will explore STEM and arts activities. From 11:00-12:00, become a world traveler! Are you curious about other cultures? Want to learn more about the tales, games, clothes, and toys of other countries around the world? Come hear multicultural tales from other parts of the globe, learn a few fun facts about this storytellers experience living in Moldova for two years working with the U.S. Peace Corps, and stay to explore tables with extension activities from China, Vietnam, India, Russia, the Cherokee nation, and many more! From 12:00-1:00 we will be reading and searching through fossil dirt from coastal North Carolina. There might even be a shark tooth or two! Children are welcome to keep what they discover. These back-to-back programs will have a (very) slight break in between, so please feel free to bring a snack; you are welcome to join for just one program, or wed love you to stay for both. No registration required.
