Belews Lake Triathlon

- Location: Stokesdale, NC.
An early season favorite, this event is the season kick-off for many local triathletes. The lake is beautiful and clear, the bike course is rural, and the run course is a great challenge. Participants also receive great swag – finisher medals, long-sleeve tech shirts, and all kinds of other goodies. Post race food includes pizza, along with oranges/bananas and other snacks. Soft drinks and water are also available. This event also has live timing, the ability to sign up for real time alerts (text, email, Facebook, and Twitter), and quick access to your own personal results from a quick scan of the QR code on your run number.
There will be bounce houses for the kids and a free kids 100 yard dash.
This event is very unique because the swim start is a Time Trial Start with athletes staggered every 10 seconds. To maximize time, 2 athletes will start the swim every 10 seconds. The last swimmer should start no later than 9:45 AM. Participants will be seeded based on their 100 yard swim time. We expect the water temperature to be 66-68. It will be wetsuit legal, and we recommend renting a wetsuit if you do not have one. Fleet Feet Sports in Greensboro has them for rent.
