Child Passenger Safety Inspection Station by Cornelius Police Department

The Cornelius Police Department Traffic Safety Unit will host bi-monthly checking stations from 3:00pm - 6:00pm at Cornelius-Lemley Fire Rescue Station 1, 19729 S. Main Street. Whether you’ve just installed a car seat or need help installing, certified technicians will inspect your car seat free of charge. No appointment neccesary.

Car seats and boosters provide protection for infants and children in a crash, yet car crashes are a leading cause of death for children ages 1 to 13. That's why it's so important to choose and use the right car seat correctly every time your child is in the car.
