NC Science Festival: Food in the Final Frontier

Have you ever wondered what the Milky Way smells like? Or the flavor of a galaxy cloud? On Friday, April 13th, PARI educators will answer these tasteful questions as they present “Food in the Final Frontier: A Taste of Space”! Prior to the presentation, you are invited to join us for a delicious, plated dinner of space-inspired entrees and drinks at PARI's campus restaurant, Smiley's at 6pm. This special dinner will prove to be an educational event itself as guests will be provided interesting, scientific facts on their entrees.
At the conclusion of the presentation, guests will enjoy a campus tour and trip to PARI’s exhibit galleries. Weather permitting, the evening will conclude with a trip to our Sky Deck, where PARI astronomers and volunteers will point out the constellations and use PARI’s telescopes to view the night sky.
