NC Science Festival: Newspaper Tower Challenge at Tech Cafe'

• When: Friday, April 20, 2018,  7:00 pm - 10:00 pm
  
• Location: Port Discover 611 E Main St, Elizabeth City, NC 27909.
• Cost: $5 for members, $8 non-members.

Student groups are challenged to design and construct model towers out of newspaper. Students aim to build their towers for height and stability, as well as the strength to withstand a simulated lateral "wind" load.

Weekly themes to spark the imagination of tweens and teenagers (11+) while providing a safe and relaxed social environment.

Snacks and refreshments are also available for purchase.
