NC Science Festival: Family Storytime: Fly High!

Bring your whole family out to enjoy stories, songs, and movement activities that support early literacy skill development and help foster a love of books and reading (and science) in your child. This program will focus on flying, from birds to rocketships! We will read books such as "Some Birds" and "Owl Babies" and learn movement songs like "Rocketship Run" by Laurie Berkner. Stay after storytime to make a butterfly, bee, or bat finger puppet to fly around the library, and to check out a book about airplanes or flying animals.
