Fifth Annual Pawsitively Matthews

Matthews, NC – The Town of Matthews is hosting the 5th Annual Pawsitively Matthews on Saturday, November 3, from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. in Stumptown Park (120 South Trade Street).
The event will feature over 50 pet-friendly vendors including area pet stores, veterinarians, treat bakeries, groomers, trainers, pet sitters, and more! There will be dogs available for adoption from several area rescue groups. There are off-leash areas for play, rabies vaccinations, micro chipping, food trucks, and a beer/wine “Pawvilion” hosted by Seaboard Brewing. Listen to live music from the Coconut Groove Band, and try your hand at the new rock-climbing wall! Admission is free and the event will be held rain or shine.
A demonstration by the Matthews Police Department K9 Unit will be held at 2:30 p.m. and the Dare Devil Dogs Frisbee Show performs at 11:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., and 3:00 p.m. Adopt a new best friend in the adoptable dog parade taking place in the afternoon!
