Attention history enthusiasts and anyone interested in experiencing the past firsthand! Don't miss the upcoming public event on September 2nd and 3rd at Historic Rural Hill, commemorating the Battle of Charlotte.

Step back in time and witness historic reenactments of the Battle of Charlotte, one of the most important battles in the Southern Campaign of the American Revolution. Our skilled reenactors will bring the battle to life, showcasing the tactics, weapons, and strategies used by the soldiers who fought for American independence.

But that's not all! The event will feature a range of exciting activities and demonstrations, including living history, camp life, civilian life, and much more!

This is a perfect opportunity for families, students, and history buffs of all ages to learn about and experience our nation's rich past. So, mark your calendars for September 2nd and 3rd, and join us at Historic Rural Hill for an unforgettable celebration of the Battle of Charlotte. Admission is affordable and everyone is welcome. The Battle of Charlotte is a rain or shine event. No refunds will be allowed for inclement weather.
Due to Mecklenburg County ordinance, smoking and vaping are not permitted anywhere on the property.
