Sugar Mountain Winter Fun

On the slopes a 1,200 foot vertical drop makes for long runs from the black diamond Whoopdedoo to the green Easy Street, a good one for beginners. Tubing and an outdoor ice rink are on site, and the slopes are close to Grandfather Mountain.

Snowmaking & Grooming are an integral part of Sugar Mountain Resort. 100% of our slopes have snowmaking capabilities. They are meticulously groomed and inspected at least twice a day to ensurethe best conditions possible.
