Carolina Raptor Center

A trip to Carolina Raptor Center is memorable for many reasons, but none more so than the chance to get up close and personal with eagles, owls, hawks and other birds of prey. While the outdoor Raptor Trail has been thrilling adults and children for decades, this project promises a new and improved experience.

Our programs last an average of 45-60 minutes. At your school or organization, students will meet 4 birds on the glove as an educator talks about topics such as ecosystems, human/environmental impacts, pollutants and bioaccumulation, and basic natural history of our raptors. For programs onsite at Carolina Raptor Center, students meet 3 birds on the glove and visit one of the aviaries on our raptor trail; onsite programs include the cost of admission, so students and teachers are free to walk the trail after the program to meet over 25 species of raptors!
