Vida Spanish is Irene Vida’s Spanish Learning Project that was born from her desire to make her students succeed in leveling up their Spanish skills by keeping their language alive. She is a certified Neurolanguage Coach from Barcelona, Spain with more than sixteen years of experience and an extensive background in teaching Spanish as a Second Language to all ages. Most recently, she has taught at the Language Academy of the Carolinas (2014-2020) where she taught in private and group settings at all levels.

Irene is a passionate Educator with a pleasant and patient personality who is now excited to be focusing on students who already have some exposure to the Spanish language. Her ideal student is already attending a bilingual school or is planning to attend in the near future. She is also opening her services to students of all ages who have a background in Spanish and are looking to maintain and/or increase their fluency.

Irene is a dreamer and doer who believes that you can always get what you want if your mental focus and your actions are aligned. She is known for challenging the way Spanish has been taught and helping her students achieve more. Her work incorporates challenging dynamics that will make the student learn and succeed quickly.

Irene is a great teacher and has helped me improve so much that I had her tutor my son, who is also attending a bilingual school.
I studied Spanish with Irene several years ago. I began with level one and continued through level 6. Irene has a wonderful approach to teaching. The tremendous effort she put into her lesson planning was evident in every class. Her dedication made me want to be dedicated as well. Studying a foreign language can be daunting but Irene made the learning process fun. The Spanish I learned in her classes made it possible for me to travel many places in Central America and to comfortably converse with the local people. I would highly recommend Irene as a teacher. Sra. Irene tutored my daughter starting at the age of 6 and increased her Spanish speaking abilities to have conversations with any native Spanish speaking person. My daughter learned how to pronounce the words accurately and feel comfort and confident when speaking, reading and writing in Spanish. Sra. Irene is a miracle worker. My daughter LOVES her and always looks forward to her lessons with Sra. Irene! They laugh and learn and Sra. Irene has become a confidant for my daughter and we love her like family!
