Welcome to the Charlotte of School Wrestling!

That “welcome” is truly core to what it means to be part of our school. We want each new student to feel comfortable and at home learning from us.

We started out in 2014 teaching wrestling in Charlotte as a tuition “free”, “give back to the community” effort and to this day still offer scholarships to those in need who could not train elsewhere. We teach all levels of wrestling, from the brand new beginner to the high schooler hoping to win a state championship, college wrestlers trying to crack their team’s lineup to adults simply working on their fitness or trying to add technique to their jujitsu or self defense.

In our practices we have children trying to do his or her first correct push-up to the high-level wrestler that’s trained years to be an all American. Our coaches focus on and treat our student’s goals as if they were our own! As a result we spend countless hours staying late after practice with students that need one on one attention to reach new levels of success and happily spend many of our weekends at tournaments with our students.

The mental toughness and the ability to be calm in stressful situations learned through the adversity of wrestling is unparalleled! We teach our students to focus on effort, improvement, attitude and resiliency. These outweigh emphasis on winning hands-down. To this end we take the time to include key mind set values in our teaching and conversations with our students and their parents as well.

We have also learned that humor and laughter is a necessary complement to the intensity and rigors that wrestling demands. As such, we try to keep practices fun and lighthearted while maintaining the necessary intensity to make practices productive.

Lastly, we have great relationships with some of the other local wrestling schools and we love working with everyone!

We understand that it can be difficult to pay tuitions at multiple clubs and so are happy to work with those students that are relentlessly in pursuit of their goals and so train at more than one area school.

Please come visit, learn from us and we will learn from you, as we are always evolving with this amazing sport that is changing year to year, decade after decade. Everyone is welcome, thank you!
