Charlotte New Year's Day 5K

Charlotte’s New Year’s Day 5K 2020 -- a first for Charlotte-- invites the community to get the new year started on the right foot with a fun, healthy activity for everyone! This new event features a 5K run and wellness walk along the LYNX Blue Line Extension on N. Tryon Street in University City.. At the finish line, participants will enjoy the “New Year, Better U!” community street party.

EVENT SCHEDULE
8:30 am – Race Day Registration/Packet Chip Pickup
9:45 am – Bag Drop Closes
9:50 am – Pre-race Ceremony and Instructions
10:00 am – 5K Race Start
10:15 – 1 pm – Post Event Party
11:00 am – Awards Ceremony
