  • When: Friday, May 22, 2020,  9:00 am -  4:00 pm
  • Location: Discovery Place Science 301 N. Tryon St., Charlotte, North Carolina 28202

Discovery Place Science will close to the public beginning Saturday, March 14 through Friday, March 27. Join forces with a team of scientists and researchers as they explore four new dinosaur species uncovered from the depths of Antarctic ice.

Upon arrival at McMurdo Station, immerse yourself in the extreme environment and continuous challenges of living and working in the Antarctic. Investigate the origins of the now-frozen land with ancient artifacts and handle equipment used by investigators to excavate one of the earth’s least hospitable environments.

Hunt for fossils before you ascend to Mount Kirkpatrick, also known as "Dinosaur Mountain", and check out the dinosaurs found by scientists on this incredible expedition.
