Yard Art Day

Artists around Charlotte and beyond are preparing for Yard Art Day on Labor Day, Monday, September 7th, 2020. For one day, front yards around the city and beyond will boast art installations of all kinds.
Yard Art Day, the brainchild of local artist Deborah Triplett, is a “grassroots arts exhibition, curated by the community, for the community.” You don’t have to be a professional artist to participate. The art on Yard Art Day takes all forms and anyone can participate.
Some of the art is big, some is small. Some of it’s created by professional artists and some is created by kids. Some is interactive. Some is collaborative. Some is performance art.
