Costume Parade & Fall Crawl
- When: Saturday, October 25, 2025, 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Location: Midwood Park and march down to The Vine for Trunk or Treat
- Cost: FREE
11 am: Costume Parade. Meet in Midwood Park and march down to The Vine for Trunk or Treat. Not parading? Line the route and cheer on the monsters, mermaids, superheroes, and four-legged friends.
11:30 am: Trunk or Treat at The Vine. A safe and fun Plaza Midwood tradition, hosted by The Vine members.
11:30 am – 6 pm | MIDWOOD PARK
EATS: Food trucks and vendors including Detour Coffee, Tacos Don Coyotl, Don’s Jamaican Kitchen, and Smooth Monkey.
DRINKS: Birdsong Brewing on tap and wine from The Bohemian.
LOCAL ARTISTS & MERCHANTS: Browse unique finds from neighborhood artists, boutiques, and vendors.
KIDS ZONE: Bounce houses and a face painting station! Charlotte East Language Academy PTA will be back this year to provide face painting from noon until 4 pm. Be sure to stop by and visit their talented students, parents, and teachers for a sweet painted treat, and to learn more about the full Spanish Immersion CMS magnet school in East Charlotte.
COMMUNITY GARDEN:
Pumpkin Painting: 12:30 – 2:30 — or until supplies are gone
Plant Pass-along: 1 – 2:30 pm
NEST’s unveiling of their Little Free Library: books about gardening, landscaping, and the environment.

LIVE MUSIC:
Grab a blanket or chair and enjoy an afternoon of live performances at the Midwood Park amphitheater:
