The South Carolina Strawberry Festival

The South Carolina Strawberry Festival takes place May 1–2 at Walter Elisha Park, offering two days of live entertainment, family activities, food, and community fun.
Friday, May 1 | 5PM – 10PM
Opening night features live music at the amphitheater, including tribute bands and a welcome ceremony. Families can enjoy the Berry Fun Zone, carnival rides, food vendors, and attractions like the K9 dog shows and butterfly exhibit. Special events include the strawberry hot wing eating contest and a meet-and-greet with the Strawberry Queens.
Saturday, May 2 | 10AM – 10PM
Saturday includes a full day of performances from local groups and regional bands, along with contests such as the strawberry baby contest, donut eating contest, and ice cream eating contest. Additional highlights include a car show, tractor display, kids’ activities, and roaming entertainment. The festival concludes with a fireworks show at 9:45PM.
Food vendors, rides, and family-friendly activities are available throughout both days.
