 l programs designed to inspire young scientists. Itty Einstein Science Time
  is open to children ages 3–5 and their caregivers. Preschoolers WILL get t
 heir hands dirty, and their minds piqued as they explore simple science con
 cepts through play, crafts, and demonstrations.\nClasses are held on Thursd
 ays from 10:00am–11:00am in Classroom 1 of the West Education Building, adj
 acent to the main Arts and Science Center Building. \nPre-payment and regis
 tration are required to reserve your space. Space is limited and available 
 on a first-come, first-served basis. The maximum number of students is 15; 
 any registrations received after capacity is reached will be placed on a wa
 iting list.\n\nCost: \n$15.00 per child for non-members\n$10.00 per child f
 or members \nAdults are free\n\nAdmission to the Catawba Science Center is 
 not included. Refunds will NOT be issued for missed classes.

 pril 23rd	Sharks vs.Whales	\nDiscover the world of underwater wonder as we 
 dive through the ocean layers, discovering animals from the common to the p
 eculiar. Participate in an animal encounter with one of our own CSC creatur
 es. Compare and contrast the ocean giants, sharks vs. whales in the ultimat
 e oceanic showdown.\n\nMay 21st	Into the Dry Desert	\nExplore the extreme i
 n a sizzling adventure into the dry desert habitats. Join us as we track do
 wn the resilient animals and plants that thrive in the desert with very lit
 tle water. Meet one of our own CSC creatures in our very own animal encount
 er.
