 stopping at the North Carolina Transportation Museum with a celebration of 
 music on September 25-27 and October 2-4, 2026.<br />Day Out With Thomas™ i
 s a fun-filled family event that takes place at Heritage Railways across th
 e world. Each ticket includes a train ride with a life-sized Thomas the Tan
 k Engine as well as access to a full day of activities for all to enjoy. Op
 tional rides with Percy are also available for an additional cost.<br />The
  event at the N.C. Transportation Museum includes Thomas and Percy train ri
 des, pictures with Sir Topham Hatt, a hay bale maze, temporary tattoos, pho
 to ops, character inflatables, giant lawn games, a music show, model train 
 layouts, food vendors, picnic shelters, a large gift shop, plus three exhib
 it buildings featuring North Carolina’s transportation history with rail ca
 rs, antique automobiles, and a Wright Brothers flyer replica.<br />Activiti

 es<br />Tickets are $30.60 ($25 plus $5.60 in fees and tax) on Fridays, $32
 .74 ($27 plus $5.74 in fees and tax) on weekends, ages 1 and up. Members re
 ceive a $2 discount per Day Out with Thomas event ticket; “All Day Ride Pas
 ses” are not discounted. Event tickets include all site activities and one 
 train ride with Thomas. Percy train tickets can be purchased for an additio
 nal $10.70 ($10 plus $0.70 in fees and tax) on Fridays or for an additional
  $12.84 ($12 plus $0.84 in fees and tax) on weekends. Percy Train tickets a
 re only available as an add-on after purchasing your Day Out With Thomas™ t
 icket. Taxes and fees are included in ticket prices and are visible up-fron
 t when purchasing tickets.
