Children's Entrepreneur Market Returns for a third Year!
The Children's Market is back for its third year at Catawba Fest, giving kids f rom across the Carolinas the chance to run their own mini-businesses, selli ng handmade crafts, food and games in a farmer's market-stule setting with children as the vendors. The nonprofit has successfully collaborated with n umerous events throughout the Charlotte area.

EATING COMPETITION !
Feeling hungry - or brave? Get ready for the Smokin' Ed's Eating Com petition, sponsored by PuckerButt Pepper Company. Back for the 4th year, br ave competitors will compete in the mini pumpkin pie competition, the pump kin pie competition, or the mini cake competition, or turn up the heat with the Carolina Reaper Dessert competition ( (ages 18 and up only - you've be en warned!). LIVE MUSIC ON THE CATAWBA STAGE!
This year's musical lineup opens at 10 AM with the Gold Hill Middle School Band, under the direction of Jennifer Isenhour. At 11 AM, talented students from Tega Cay's Encore Music Studios take the Cata wba Stage, followed by School of Rock Fort Mill at 2:15 PM, giving performe rs a chance to be selected to perform at the 2027 Best Dam Food Festival. A t 1:15 PM, Mix Tape Entertainment hosts karaoke during the change over brea k. Headlining the day is the Diamond Dixie Band – two sisters bringing thei r "cool country" sound to the stage. The duo returns by popular demand afte r their performance at the 2025 Uncle Sam Jam.
