SUMMARY:SCNP: Snail Mail with the Snails
LOCATION:Stevens Creek Nature Center 15700 Thompson Road Mint Hill, NC 28227
DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE:Dear Ms. Snail, May I practice writing with you and all of your friends? I
 have so many questions about how to write a letter. Like “Where does a stam
 p go?” “What is a stamp!?” “How much would it cost to mail something to Aus
 tralia?” I want to bring back the joy of writing to other emerging writers,
  like me! Could we become pen pals, where I write you stories or questions
 about the animals? We could meet the snails and other slow-crawling things
 too! From, Your most excited new friend! This class combines letter writin
 g practice with animal encounters. Participants will have the opportunity t
 o become pen-pals with the nature center animals and send/receive written n
 otes on a regular basis.Pre-registration required. Not a drop-off program;
 children must be accompanied by an adult. This program takes place inside t
 he full accessible Nature Center. \n\n
X-EXTRAINFO:This program is for ages 5 to 8 and it is Free.
