Listen Look and Learn in the Garden at Freedom Park

Mecklenburg Extension Master Gardeners (EMG) introduces Listen, Look, and Learn in the Garden the first in a monthly series of educational programs offering children ages 4-5 the opportunity to experience and enjoy the wonders of nature.
Each program begins with story time; the book sets the stage for a guided walk in the EMG Freedom Park Demonstration Garden and into the surrounding park. Children will be encouraged to explore the story’s theme through interacting with nature. This “sunshine or rain” program is free and open to the public. Pre-registration on line is require.
