Idea Lab Kids Ballantyne Remote Learning
DEA Lab Kids is an inquiry-based S.T.E.A.M {Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics} learning center that merges the principals of STEM Learning with artistic Creativity to build critical-thinking skills through hands-on FUN Enrichment, Remote Learning Support, Afterschool Classes, Camps, Birthday experience, and Workshops. IDEA Lab Kids is where we Rock your Grey Matter!
Our Brand NEW facility is in Ballantyne located in the Hunters Crossing Shopping Center, across from Elevation Church. We have 5 state of the art classrooms to teach Art, Culinary, Science, Tech and fun and engaging Maker Space. We also have a Gym... so the kids will never get bored and will have worked out all of their energy by the end of the day!
Starting August 17, we will be supporting Families by hosting kids for Remote Learning. You can count on us to provide safe, micro-classrooms where we'll help your kids navigate their remote learning, homeschool classes and provide fun and engaging classes in art, robotics, coding, culinary, science and more! Our Owner and Center Director is a National Board Certified Teacher and Principal and our teachers are qualified, energetic, experienced with kids and ready to create the BEST Remote Learning experience your kids could have! We are closely following the CDC recommendations to safeguard against COVID19 by taking temperature checks in the morning, afternoon and upon departure, sanitizing all classrooms before and after use, limiting interactions between students, deeply sanitizing the entire center on a regular basis, requiring our staff to wear masks and asking that students do as well. Outside of work, our staff is committed to social distancing and wearing masks on a regular basis. We've also reduced our class size from the normal 12 - 14 to 8 students. We take your child's safety very seriously and make it our top priority.
Remote Learning Support

•5 days / week (8:00 - 3:30) - $40/ Day
•Intensive 1:1 tutoring or small group (call to customize program ) - TBD
Snacks included. Materials included, but it's recommended you bring your own device, pre-loaded with your child's programs and passwords. We can supply one if needed.
Brand new, 5 classroom facility in Ballantyne (across from Elevation Church)
Micro-classrooms of no more than 8 students in cohorts of K-2, 3-5, 6-8.
We prioritize & maximize student engagement in live meetings with their teacher
Review any recorded lessons from their teacher
Assist students to access and complete homework and other assignments
Explicitly teach and reinforce essential life skills such as organization, managing emotions, taking initiative, goal setting, and perseverance.
Learn and practice active healthy habits during gym time.
Integrate enrichment learning opportunities using our proprietary S.T.E.A.M. curriculum such as culinary arts, chemistry experiments, entrep
