Taste of the New South: One Charlotte, Many Flavors

  • When: Friday, February 23, 2018,  6:00 pm - 11:00 pm
  • Location: Levine Museum of the New South 200 E 7th St, Charlotte, NC 28202.

Each year, Levine Museum of the New South hosts one of Charlotte’s most anticipated and friendliest fundraising events, Taste of the New South. During Taste, over 500 enthusiastic guests enjoy distinctive food and drink, unique entertainment, and transformative décor. Taste is a Southern-style, casual event and a welcome departure from the formal black-tie fundraisers.

We are pleased to present 2018‘s Taste of the New South: One Charlotte, Many Flavors. This year’s event will take place on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Levine Museum. In addition to the inspired menu and creative cocktails Taste is known for, this year will also feature a new Taste After Dark event to appeal to the late-night crowd. Our theme will celebrate signature neighborhoods throughout Charlotte, highlighting what makes them unique.

Taste of the New South supports Levine Museum’s commitment to use history to build community. We use exhibits and programs to help audiences understand the history behind our community today, bring people together in dialogue across differences, and inspire them to engage in building a better tomorrow.
