  • Cost: $8/first student, $5/each additional student + $12/adult (must be from same household).

Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden provides a wonderful living laboratory for meaningful, real-world explorations for your home-schooled students. Themed programming on the last Wednesday of every other month will include a variety of learning stations offering hands-on, guided discovery experiences with our knowledgeable instructional staff. Programs are offered 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. geared towards children in grades K-5. To register in advance, call 704-829-1270 or register online.

There are many different types of relationships that exist in nature – some that are beneficial and others that are harmful. Learn about mutualism, commensalism and parasitism through the diversity of relationships that exist at the Garden. Games and activities will enhance a deeper understanding and respect for all creatures big and small.

Please note, we ask that parents please stay with children during the homeschool day activities. Children may not be dropped off on their own.
