In collaboration with the North Carolina Science Festival, the High Point Museum presents Cyanotype and Pinhole Photography. Come discover the science behind two of the earliest ways that people invented and used photography to capture the world around them. The High Point Museum and Benita VanWinkle of High Point University will show visitors how early photography sits at the intersection of chemistry and artistry. We will explore pinhole photography and cyanotype photography. Visitors will be able to make their own cyanotype print and learn how to build their own pinhole cameras.
