Homeschool Rally Junior Edition: Slam and Slime

Homeschooled children ages 5-11 will explore STEM and arts activities. This month, school aged kids and tweens will read books, play games and do activities in honor of both National Poetry Month and the NC Science Festival! From 11:00-12:00 we will host a Poetry Slam. Roses are red, your poems are too. If we show you how theyre written, could you read us a few? Discover several different forms of poetry and learn to create your own to share with us. From 12:00-1:00 we will learn about the chemistry of polymers as we mix, observe, and experiment with several kinds of slime! These back-to-back programs will have a (very) slight break in between, so please feel free to bring a snack; you are welcome to join for just one program, or wed love you to stay for both. No registration required.
