Davidson’s Concerts on the Green: Sidecar Social Club

Concerts on the Green take place the first and third Sundays in April through September.
All concerts are free, family-oriented, and open to all ages.
Food and beverages are available for purchase. In addition, attendees also have a choice of some wonderful Davidson restaurants from which to get take-out, or visit before or after the concert. Coolers and picnics are welcome.
Diverse in style and accomplished by their own rights, musicians J. Clarence Crew Jr., Aaron Bittikofer, Edward Theolandos Butler and F.O. Finch III have been working staples in the Triangle’s jazz and world music scene for more than a decade. While their careers have overlapped throughout the years, Sidecar Social Club brings them together for the love of an old time sound with an updated stylized twist. With the addition of vocalist Lisa Veronica Wood and a focus on themes of the unrequited and ruthless women of song, Sidecar Social Club indeed have an amazing & entertaining story to tell.
