18th Annual 4th of July Plaza Midwood Pig Pickin'

We will celebrate the annual Plaza Midwood Pig Pickin' on Wednesday July 4th, 2018 from 4pm-10pm. Let freedom ring, y’all!
Roasting a whole NC hog, The Diamond will be serving up pulled pork plates and sandwiches, hot dogs, and ice cold beer both canned and draught. Music will play on the outside stage with three live bands, The Willie Douglas Band at 6:00, The Penitentials at 7:30 and Paint Fumes at 9:00. Shows are free and the celebration is fun for the whole family!
After enjoying homemade NC pulled pork BBQ, make your way around the neighborhood to explore everything Plaza Midwood has to offer for our Independence Day celebration. Each participating business will feature their own specials, events, and attractions and there will even be voter registration offered at the event!
