Clinic: Whitewater Boat Design

Every whitewater kayak has its own unique design and elements, and this clinic will show you what to look for when picking out a boat of your own. You’ll learn about the difference in kayak designs and features unique to different kayak manufacturers, common myths about various kayaks, and ultimately how to choose the boat that is right for you (open to 10 participants).
Each Friday evening at River Jam, the U.S. National Whitewater Center offers beginners and experts alike the chance to learn more about the outdoors through Clinics. Covering a variety of topics including mountain biking, backcountry camping, reading whitewater, native wildlife, and more, guests at each free clinic will receive the skills and insight to take on their next outdoor adventure. Each clinic will last an hour and begin at 6:30pm. Afterwards, stick around for live music, craft beer, and more at River Jam.
