Homeschool Rally Junior Edition: All the World’s a Stage! Puppetry and DramaRama

Homeschooled children ages 5-11 will explore arts activities. This month, school aged kids and tweens will read books, play games and do activities themed around theatre! Develop reading and comprehension skills by using scripts adapted from children's literature to increase your presentation and public speaking skills. From 11:00-12:00 we will focus on puppetry—from shadow puppets and finger puppets to marionettes and Muppetry—and everyone in the workshop will make his or her own paper bag puppets to take home! From 12:00-1:00 we will focus on acting games and improvisation, so come prepared to be silly! These back-to-back programs will have a (very) slight break in between, so please feel free to bring a snack; you are welcome to join for just one program, or we’d love you to stay for both. This year we are requiring registration and capping at 50, so sign up now!
