The Charlotte Thanksgiving Parade started out in 1947 as a small-town community event. Now, 71 years later, it has grown to become the number one destination for folks who want to celebrate their family, friends and neighbors over the Thanksgiving holiday.

This year's parade will consist of 12 floats, 8 larger than life balloons, 7 Segwalloons, 15 marching bands, and 17 performing acts! Appearances will include Miss North Carolina, the Seed and Feed Marching Abominable, the cast of Carowinds' Winterfest, and an even appearance by Santa himself!

There's no spectacle to compare with the Novant Health Thanksgiving Day Parade in Charlotte, NC!
