SCNP: International Migratory Bird Day Hike

Search high and low for spring migrants on International Migratory Bird Day. We'll practice identifying birds by sight and sound, and chat about why migrants, such as American Redstart and Northern Parulas, are returning to the Charlotte area. This slow-paced birding hike is open to all levels; bring your own binoculars or borrow ours. Pre-registration required for adults and children alike. Not a drop-off program; adult participation required for children ages 7-17. Expect to travel up to 1.5 miles on natural surface trails with easy/moderate terrain.
