Fall Naturalist Hikes

Explore the changing season through a naturalist lens. Guided by a Central Carolinas Master Naturalist and N.C. Environmental Educator, this welcoming group of nature enthusiasts observes natural changes over the fall season. Because nature always has something new to teach us, all experience levels are welcome and everyone is encouraged to contribute their knowledge! Register for 1, 2, or all 3 dates this fall - 9/26, 10/31, and 11/21. Pre-registration required. This hike qualifies for the 100 Mile Hike Club; expect to travel up to 2 miles on natural surface trails with easy/moderate terrain that can be slippery, rocky and uneven. Prior to the program, the instructor will email important information on how to prepare, what to bring, etc.
