Empire City Con - Steven Universe Fan Convention

The only 3-day fan convention event dedicated to the Cartoon Network program Steven Universe will host its third year at the Crowne Plaza Charlotte Executive Park.
Completely fan-run, Empire City Con offers a weekend of family-friendly fun for Steven Universe fans across the globe. Programming includes music, workshops, gaming, vendors, and panels focusing on themes of family, the LGBTQ+ community, the animation industry, disability, and more.
Launched via Kickstarter in 2016 under the name "Beach City Con," the first two years of the event were held in Virginia Beach, VA. After the 2018 convention, founder and organizer K-K Bracken started her own company, Star Eyed Events, LLC, and relocated the event to Charlotte.
The guest of honor for Empire City Con 2019 will be Deedee Magno Hall, the voice of Pearl.
