Day Out With Thomas at the N.C. Transportation Museum

Day Out With Thomas™ is an annual event that offers children and their families the unique opportunity to take a ride with Thomas, the No. 1 blue engine, and enjoy a day of fun filled Thomas & Friends™ themed activities. Meet Sir Topham Hatt, the Controller of the Railway, and enjoy crafts, story-telling, videos, train play tables, coloring, temporary tattoos, live music, live magic shows, and much more!
Join us for a train ride behind Thomas, departing every 45 minutes, rain or shine. Add a ride aboard the Percy caboose train as well! Departure times begin at 10am Fridays and 9:15am Saturdays and Sundays. Final Thomas rides are at 3:45pm Fridays, 5:15 Saturdays and 4:30 Sundays. The final Percy ride is at 5:15pm each event day.
