Each year, the Cabarrus Arena & Events Center is transformed to showcase artwork from some of the best artists in the nation. Just in time for the holiday shopping season. The 39th annual Christmas Made in the South welcomes over three hundred artists and makers from 28 states exhibiting spectacular work in a broad spectrum of mediums. Mark your calendars to attend this recognized festival this year, October 25, 26, 27 2019. For those three fun-filled days, artists will exhibit their work in photography, jewelry, sculpture, woodworking, personalized ornaments, pottery, stained glass, folk artists and many others.
Sunshine Artist Magazine, the art industries leading publication, recently rated Christmas Made in the South as one of the top 100 craft festivals in the nation. “Being ranked in the top 100 out of more than 10,000 craft shows nationally is certainly an honor,” says Bob Hunt, President of Carolina Shows, Inc. that has been producing other high-caliber shows in the southeast for 34 years. “It speaks for the level of quality and the excellent crowds the show attracts.”
To ensure festival-goers of a unique event, only artists and makers with the highest-caliber work and the most professional appealing displays will be accepted.
Each maker will be present at his or her booth the entire weekend. This allows the rare opportunity to personally meet the creators of the work, ask questions and discover what motivates them. With prices ranging from $10 to $2,000 – there is something for everyone.
