Gemstone Mining at The Schiele Museum of Natural History

Go gem mining and search for quartz, citrine, garnets, and other beautiful specimens!
Gemstone Mining begins at 10 AM and ends at noon.
Actual activity takes approximately 30 minutes (depending on attention span). Tuesday, Aug. 11 Gemstone Mining 10 AM - 12 PM **PLEASE NOTE - THIS ACTIVITY IS $4 PER PERSON** We recommend purchasing tickets in advance. Participants keep what they find! Visit the mine to search for gems and interesting stones using running water. Miners keep what they find!
