Honoring Indigenous Cultures

  • Location: The Schiele Museum of Natural History, Charlotte NC.

Join us as we honor indigenous cultures and discover the rich heritage, history, and culture of American Indians. Visit the Catawba Indian Village to learn about our region’s largest group of indigenous people, view blowgun demonstrations, and speak with primitive skills experts and artisans about hunting bows, stone tools, quillwork, and more!

Education Program
Pumpkin Patch & pumpkin (while supplies last)
Access to The Farm

**TICKETS MUST BE PURCHASED IN ADVANCE!**
The Education Program is ongoing from 11 AM - 12 PM and 1:30 - 2:30 PM and is included with your Pumpkin Patch ticket purchase. Select the timed Pumpkin Patch ticket you'd like and then participate in the program scheduled closest to your timed ticket. Ticket purchase does not include admission to visit indoor museum exhibits.
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each person will require a ticket.
Education Program Tickets:
Adult: 19 years +
Youth: 3 - 18 years
Child: 2 and under
The Farm is outdoors, so please plan to dress accordingly for the weather.
Each participant will need to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
**Limited tickets available for each session.**
Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your ticket time to check-in at the front desk and travel to the program area.
Ticket purchase is exclusively for program day you selected and for access to The Farm that day.
