Gemstone Mining at The Schiele Museum of Natural History

Miners get to keep what they find!
Ticket purchase includes:
* basket of mixed materials to use in sluice
* identification chart
Tickets: $3 per person ages 4+
Adult: 19 years +
Youth: 4 - 18 years
Child: 3 and under
Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each paid participant receives a basket with a scoop of the pre-mixed materials, so the quantity and types of gems found will vary per basket.
The programs are scheduled to be outdoors. Please dress accordingly. We will plan to hold programs unless the weather is deemed unsafe. We reserve the right to cancel the program and offer a raincheck or substitute an alternative if the weather is uncooperative.
