SCNP Intro to Archery

Be the first to try our newest outdoor recreation offering, archery! Bows and arrows are some of the oldest tools humans have ever used, and still use to this day. Get a grip on basic terminology, practice proper form and safety with a recurve bow, then use your new-found knowledge with a little target practice. If you can't make it today, check out the other Intro to Archery classes this month.
Additional dates for this program are February 8, 19 and 22 same time.
Notes: Pre-registration required 48 hours before start of program. Dress for the weather, wear closed-toed shoes, and bring a water bottle.
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation follows all CDC guidelines and Governor’s orders. Participants are expected to wear a mask indoors at all times and outdoors if social distancing guidelines cannot be met. Participants may be less than 6’ apart during an outdoor program. At that time, we will ask everyone to wear a mask. If you cannot, you will be asked to stand more than 6’ away.
