SCNP Together in Nature Series: Winter Trees

  • Location: Stevens Creek Nature Preserve and Center, Charlotte NC.
  • Cost: $4.00

Preschoolers and their favorite adult discover nature together through crafts, games, songs, animal encounters and hands-on exploration. Each TiN class features a different theme, with indoor and outdoor activities.
Feb 12 - Winter Trees: Investigate trees of different ages and create a stick craft for your room. Additional time 11am to 11:45am.
Additional date and time and theme for this program is Feb 26 - Four Fur Feet: Match furs and feet of native mammals and search for animal tracks. Same times as the other program.
Notes: Pre-registration required; please choose 1 time-slot per week and register per child. Adult and child should dress to be outside. Babes in arms welcome; older siblings may tag along but only register children ages 2-5.
Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation follows all CDC guidelines and Governor’s orders. Participants are expected to wear a mask indoors at all times and outdoors if social distancing guidelines cannot be met. Participants may be less than 6’ apart during an outdoor program. At that time, we will ask everyone to wear a mask. If you cannot, you will be asked to stand more than 6’ away.
