Family First: Homemade Fabric Coloring

For our January Family First workshop, we will use household items to add a unique color pattern to everyday clothes. Similar to tie-dye, Kool-Aid will transform fabrics into a vibrant mixture of colors, each based on participants' preferences on color schemes. This art activity will turn your masks and socks into wearable art! The supplies needed for the successful execution of the workshop include:
• Small plastic/styrofoam bowls
• Plastic gloves
• Colored rubber bands
• 2-4 white masks, t-shirts, socks, or any other white cloth
• Kool-Aid packets (Green Apple, Lemonade, Tropical Punch, Grape, Black Cherry, Berry Blue)
• White vinegar
