The controlled use of fire is one of the most significant technological advances in human evolution. Wherever humans are found, fire is found alongside them. From providing warmth, to purifying water and cooking food, fire has been a tool of humankind for millions of years.
In this workshop, you will:
* Learn how to select wood and tinder,
* Procure materials for various fire starting methods,
* Learn the basics of friction fire-making methods including bow drill, hand drill, flint and steel, and more!
* Construct your own complete fire making kit to take home!
