UNION’S GOT TALENT

  • When: Wednesday, May 5, 2021,  8:00 am
  • Location: Online
  • Cost: $10 (individual) & $20 (group)

Lanti Performing Arts and the Town of Indian Trail Parks & Rec are thrilled to be hosting the 1st Annual “Union’s Got Talent” (virtual edition)!

Local businesses, schools, and individuals are invited to participate by submitting performance videos that highlight the talents of our youth (ages 18 & under). If you are a solo musician, a local band, a dance troupe, or someone who has a special talent to share – this competition is for you!

Contestants will be divided into two age categories: (1) 12 yrs & under; (2) 13-18 yrs. Acts are judged on creativity, uniqueness, and overall talent. Within those 2 age categories, we’ll be giving awards for 1st place, runner-up, people’s choice, and a few specialty categories. Prize packages include cash, trophies, and/or business donations totaling over $1000!

The entry fee is $10 (individual) & $20 (group) – in addition to the prize packages, a portion of the proceeds will also be donated to the Lanti Foundation, a non-profit that provides performing arts scholarships and outreach opportunities to students.

Competitors may submit videos between March 18-April 18. Registration closes on April 18 @ 11:59pm. People’s Choice voting will run via Facebook from April 20-May 4 and the final winners will be announced on Facebook on May 5.

The Judges Panel is comprised of incredible guests from NY to North Carolina including Teah Burse (fashion & runway model), Crystal Coleman (former ECU & Top Cat Dancer), Mario the Maker Magician (as seen on Sesame Street, NBC’s Universal Kids, and live on tour with David Blaine) Alex Zurdo (International musician; two-time GMA Dove Award winner), and Indian Trail’s very own, Micahel Alvarez (Mayor of Indian Trail).

“Union’s Got Talent” was formed in order to support the performing arts while also giving children of all ages, abilities, and talents the opportunity to grow and share their passions. We're excited to help bring our community together through this special and creative event! We can't wait to receive your entries and watch you rock out!
