Strawberry Picking at Carrigan Farms
- When: Saturday, May 1, 2021, 8:30 am - 6:00 pm
- Location: Carrigan Farms, 1261 Oakridge Farm Hwy, Mooresville, NC 28115.
The peak time for strawberry picking is from May 4th until May 12th. For the best picking, come between those dates. That is when we will have the most strawberries to pick.
The first day for strawberry picking is April 30th. There are some ripe berries but not a lot just yet so for the best picking experience, visit during the peak of May 4th – May 12th.
Dates/ Times / Hours:
Friday April 30th 8:30 am – approximately 6:00 pm
Saturday May 1st 8:30 am – approximately 6:00 pm
Sunday May 2nd – it is still to be determined if we will be open or closed. It depends on the supply of ripe berries.
More dates and times will follow as picking conditions are evaluated.
Looking for the authentic U-pick strawberry picking experience? Look no farther than Carrigan Farms. In the spring, our strawberry field opens for pick-your-own strawberries.
Cost of U-pick strawberries is $15 per gallon-sized container and $5 per quart-sized container. We provide the clean containers. Sometimes we have pre-picked strawberries available, but not always. If we do have them, cost is $17 per gallon-sized container and $5 per quart-sized container. For payment, please bring cash or check because we don’t take credit or debit cards.
Please do not bring pets or dogs with you to the farm.
