Art in the Garden Tour

  • When: Sunday, May 16, 2021,  1:00 pm -  4:00 pm
  • Location: Charlotte NC.

The Charlotte Garden Club, an affiliate of The Mint Museum, is thrilled to again hold our annual public tour of spectacular private residential gardens in South Charlotte. While we paused last year, our six hosts did not: they’ve had 12 more months to ensure their inspiring gardens – from long established to newly planted – are ready for our “100% Outdoors, 100% Contactless, 100% Delightful” weekend this May.

Safety is Our Top Priority: We’ll follow state and federal COVID-19 protocols. Masks, crowd control, social distancing and paperless tickets will be implemented throughout the tour.

Local painters will set up easels in each garden to capture “en plein air” the beauty of these Southern landscapes. An exciting raffle (buy on our website April 1) will feature sought-after specimen shrubs and trees from leading nurseries, a must-have potting bench and much more. Master Gardeners and representatives from Soil3 will be on duty, and Stewart’s Village Pottery will offer whimsical yard art for sale. Don’t miss our inspiration-filled weekend – RAIN OR SHINE – for novice and seasoned gardeners alike.

Tour Times: Saturday, May 15 from 10 AM to 4 PM; Sunday, May 16 from 1 to 4 PM. Tickets go on sale April 1 at www.charlottegardenclub.org.
